Designers and retailers are just beginning to explore the idea of creating clothes that are earth friendly - doing everything from using organic cotton or hemp to experimenting with natural dyes. The challenge for them has been to find fabrics that are both high quality and manufactured in a way that causes minimal negative impact on the environment.  If going green is what you are interested in please check out designers like Linda Loudermilk and Davora Lindner.  Also dont be afraid to try some eco friendly cosmetics.  Please check out www.arbonne.com who only uses pure, safe, and beneficial products.

Bra strap dilemma

I hope that everyone is enjoying their memorial day weekend.  I hope to God that yours is going better then mine!  But less talk
fashion! Here is another helpful hint that might help when trying to find the right bra.
One of my pet peeves is a visible bra strap hanging out of a sleeveless top (and, I'm sorry, but clear bra straps don't cut it either.) Bra straps slipping down a shoulder don't look cute or sexy, just sloppy. So I love the idea behind this little plastic disc from Embrace. It's called The bra Strap Solution and it turns a regular bra into a racerback bra. Presto! No straps hanging out. Love it!

Fashion Trends and styles

Well, welcome to my first blog.  In this blog we will discuss fashion trends and styles for the summer season.  Stigmata Fashion design is a local Fort Wayne clothing designer that creates unique alternative looks for the Rocker in you but in this case we are going to discuss fun trends and affordable shopping that will help ease the high gas prices.  Less start out with our first piece of information...
Brights.  Bright colors are in this season.  Everything from wearing a pair of hot pink shoes with a plain outfit to wearing an outfit that is hot pink.  Dont be afraid to put color in your wardrobe.  A little trick I like to do is to tie a bright scarf on my purse before I go out just to give that pop of color (and of course...it usually  matches my shoes)
